Higher Education is a crucial step for students and parents alike. Over the years, the trend of foreign education has increased among students. In the post-Covid world, the rush for foreign educational opportunities has gained significant momentum. This was something that was witnessed at the World education fair organized by Edwise, overseas education consultants in The Park hotel on June 12, 2022.

A huge crowd of students and parents attended this fair. Here, students could meet internationally renowned university representatives. Many delegates from top universities interacted with students on admissions, scholarships and application fee waivers. The delegates answered queries about courses, visas, scholarships, and loans. Info desks from many popular countries such as the USA, UK, Cannada, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand, were present at the event. Experts from universities like the Bournemouth (UK), Douglas College( Cannada), EU Business School(Germany), and Hult International Business School(UK) for guiding the students. A new trend seen was the high interest among students in hotel management courses being offered in Switzerland.

Sumita Mehta, a student at the education fair says, “I want to go to the USA for a Masters’s program in Business Administration. I believe there is greater exposure abroad as the quality of education is unmatched there.”
Upasana Gupta, a mother at the education fair says, “I am here for my son. Nowadays, everyone desires to get settled in other countries so why not start early.
Rohit Chokhani, a student of BBA says, “I want to go to the UK for my Master’s in business administration and as I will get more placement opportunities and wider aspect of learning and exploring. One more reason is the cold pleasant weather and the places I can explore from there. I don’t want to settle there permanently but only want to get a higher degree from there.”
