iQualify UK has been offering “modern” British FE and HE education to students worldwide, especially in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, since 2013.
The provider offers diplomas in Business Management at Levels 4, 5, and 6, and a postgraduate Level 7 qualification which provides students with ‘advanced’ entry onto MBA courses at universities in Britain or abroad.
“Our business model enables us boost international student applications to universities in Britain and elsewhere”
“Apart from generating export sales, our business model enables us to spread British education throughout the world, and boost international student applications to universities in Britain and elsewhere,” Ian Fraser, principal and director at iQualify UK said on the announcement.
The streamlined pathway enables learners to shorten their study abroad period and significantly cut the cost of higher education, iQualify UK added.
In 2019/2020, 13,445 international students were studying at Coventry University, and it has also establish a network of international hubs, in Brussels, Dubai, Singapore and Rwanda in addition to its branch campus in Wroclaw, Poland.
“The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a fantastic achievement for Coventry University, particularly as it recognises the enormous efforts we have made to form positive collaborations worldwide,” said vice-chancellor John Latham.
“This international focus not only offers great benefits to our students, opening up unique opportunities, but also the city which benefits from students from more than 100 nations, enabling us to share knowledge and best practices, ultimately helping to ensure our research is of the highest standard.”
The UK’s most prestigious business award recognised the work of 226 organisations nationally in 2022, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
“The Queens Award Emblem is a signal to students and partners that we are a world leader when it comes to our international outlook and it is yet another indication of the amazing reputation Coventry University is forging, not just in the UK but right across the globe,” Latham added.
iQualify UK postgraduate diplomas are delivered via blended learning, making education “more affordable” and allows for flexible study with students in control of the pace and style of their learning, the provider continued.
As Covid restrictions are lifted, iQualify UK said it will re-instate its face-to-face teaching and learning provision, whereby lecturers from British universities fly in to teach students a unit in three-day blocks and giving students six-to-eight weeks to complete each assignment, before flying the lecturers back in again to teach the next unit.
Awarding organisation Learning Resource Network was awarded the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise (International Trade) in 2020, along with London Examinations Board and London-based charity Breaking Barriers in 2021.
