How about performing this Christmas song with your school staff?

It’s great to be a little silly in school at Christmas! I’m sure your pupils will love this school-related rendition of The 12 Days Of Christmas.

No doubt you’ll find some of these verses relatable …

A Teacher’s Twelve Days of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘I need a plaster ‘coz I’ve cut my knee’.

On the second day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘urgh, I just don’t get it.’

On the third day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘can I turn the page now?’

On the fourth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘that boy looked at me funny.’

On the fifth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘this term is far too long.’

On the sixth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘where shall I put this staple?’

On the Seventh day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘my hand is really tired.’

On the eighth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘this is extremely boring.’

On the ninth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘I really need a wee.’

On the tenth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘when is it home time?’

On the eleventh day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘there’s a tarantula in the toilet!’

On the twelfth day of Christmas, a pupil said to me, ‘I’m so hungry I might faint.’
